Over 100 years of values based education!

Hilliard Christian School has been providing quality Christian education to the community since 1901. It is situated in a beautiful bushland setting at West Moonah with panoramic views along the Derwent River.

The school cultivates and encourages an atmosphere of tolerance and respect for others including peers, parents and teachers. There is recognition of differences and affirmation of individual skills, abilities and positive personal attributes. Students are encouraged to do their best at all times and to participate in community and charity projects.

The future holds many challenges and opportunities. With more parents concerned about our uncertain future, they are looking for an education for their children that will equip them mentally, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually to deal positively with the challenges ahead. Hilliard Christian School offers parents the values–based education they are looking for and has done so for more than one hundred years.

Message from our Principal

We wish you a warm welcome as you visit our Hilliard Christian School community via our website.

Hilliard is a school where students are developed in an environment built around our four key values (Belonging, Integrity, Respect and Perseverance). The school believes that these values are best understood within the framework of a Christian Worldview.

Within this framework, students from Kindergarten to Year 10 are given an opportunity to thrive in supportive classrooms led by quality teachers.

As you browse the pages on this website, we trust that you will learn a little about a place where children are empowered to learn. And then we hope that you will make an appointment to come and find out more about Hilliard Christian School.

…because your child matters.

I hope to meet you soon

God bless

Stephen Littlewood
Principal
